There was a report on Tuesday that ex-president Donald Trump will meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week when the latter travels to the United States to participate in several official events.
On the one hand, Trump called India a “very big abuser” when it comes to trade and on the other hand called Modi “fantastic” at a campaign function in Michigan.
During the meeting, he revealed to the crowd that he was going to meet with me next week, without providing any further details other than that.
I am pleased to inform you that Prime Minister Modi will be making a visit to Wilmington, Delaware, a hometown of former President Joe Biden, at the end of this month as part of the “Quad Leaders” summit along with the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and the Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio.
There have been four-way Quad alliances since 2007, but Biden has actively gotten behind the alliance as part of a strong emphasis on international alliances to rein in adversaries, especially the Chinese, as part of an international alliance strategy.
After abandoning his bid for another term in the White House, Vice President Kamala Harris has replaced Biden as the top Democrat on the ticket for the upcoming summit, which will mark his last opportunity to meet with the group as US president.
As a follow up to the summit, Prime Minister Modi will also attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York, in addition to meeting with members of the Indian community.
Despite the fact that Trump isn’t president anymore, he has met in Florida with Hungary’s nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orban, a close ally of the Republican Party that is hoping the Republican Party can retake the White House in November.
Timenews1 provided that news.
