Government Eid ul Fitr holidays, There has been a confusion surrounding the Eid ul Fitr holidays from April 9 to 12 which came into effect on April 8. In an effort to clear things up, the Ministry of Interior today described a notification stating the federal government’s announcement of the holidays as false.
There is a fake notification going around social media platforms that states: In continuation of the cabinet division’s circular No 10-20/2023 Min-II dated 23rd December, the prime minister is hereby announcing that for the purpose of marking the occasion of Eid ul Fiter on 9 April 2024 to 12 April 2024 (Tuesday through Friday), a public holiday will be declared.
According to a statement released by an interior ministry spokesperson on Sunday, the notification circulating on the internet is merely a rumour that does not exist in reality.
In response to the question regarding the Eid ul Fitr holiday, the spokesman said that it had not yet been decided what the federal government would do.
A regular notification will be sent out to the public every time the government makes a decision regarding the holidays.”
On the other hand, the Punjab government has announced that the Daanish schools will be closed for nine days on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr, starting from April 6th.
As the provincial authorities announced in a notification released on Saturday, all Daanish Schools in the province will be closed between April 6 and April 14, 2014 as per their policy.
The Eid holidays traditionally begin a day earlier than the anticipated date so that individuals will have enough time and opportunity to prepare for the holiday and to take part in the joyful celebrations.Eid celebrations typically include feasting, gift-giving, and attending religious services. It is a time of joy and celebration for Muslims and communities around the world.
