‘Suits’ showrunners plan next Meghan Markle drama on Netflix. In the wake of the successful Netflix comeback of Meghan Markle’s Suits, Aaron Korsh, creator of the series, is reportedly working on a mysterious project.
A new series for NBCUniversal, according to Deadline, will not be a reboot or revival of the renowned legal drama; rather, it will be set in a new location and feature new characters.
Korsh expressed his delight on X, formerly known as Twitter, after the series performed exceptionally well on the OTT platform.
“I used to believe we were underestimated, but Suits underestimated us as well. I’m glad I’m the King,” he said.
Fans were enthralled last month when Patrick J. Adams, who played Michael Ross in Suits, shared some exciting behind-the-scenes photos of their favourite drama, featuring the Duchess of Sussex.
A number of fans speculated that the popular drama series would return for its tenth season at that time.
The latest reports, however, dismiss rumours of the drama’s renewal.
Suits premiered on June 23, 2011, and its nine seasons have been phenomenally successful.
Meghan, who played Patrick’s love interest in the show, left the drama series in 2017 after getting married to Prince Harry.
