In response to his 13-year-old son’s plea to continue playing football, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is in training with his son, posted an Instagram photo depicting the pair working out together.
The Portuguese sensation made his first trip outside of Europe last year when he signed with Al-Nassr and became one of the pillars of the Saudi revolution. According to The Mirror, Ronaldo is the first well-known player to have played for a major league club in the Middle East, even though he finished top of the scoring charts this season.
As a soccer player who is known for his dedication to maintaining his physical health, Ronaldo has long been respected for his commitment to the hobby, and he often shares photos of his workouts on social media. He wrote in the caption of the photo that he was taking with Cristiano Jr, “Today with my partner,” and the picture was posted on social media.
A number of academies have offered Cristiano Jr the opportunity to play and it is expected that he will follow his father’s professional path. After reading Al-Nassr’s books, he feels as if he has made good progress in his development. He intends to hand over a pitch to his father before he retires instead of waiting until he passes away.
A spokesman for the U13s star said: “I am very glad to have come here, and I am comfortable with the club, and I am able to adapt quickly, and thus have enjoyed a lot of this season, which has been great.”
During the Globe Soccer Awards earlier this month, Ronaldo joked that he could still play for another decade despite turning 39 earlier this month, and said: “I want to play with you!” The Portuguese player has claimed: “My son says: dad, hold on a few more years. I want to play with you! In response to this question, he said: “I’m not sure. I don’t know when I will be done. Of course it will come soon, around 10 years from now. I’m joking here, I’m not sure, let’s see how it goes.”
When Ronaldo was in his late thirties, he enjoyed a great deal of success; he scored goals quickly and became one of the best players in the world after that. It was said that he took the move to Saudi Arabia for a large payday and that it would be the start of the end of his career because he would simply move there.
The Portuguese celebrity, however, denied that when he joined the team: “They say Ronaldo is done… but that isn’t true at all. I’ll continue to play until my legs tell me, Cristiano, I’m done! I still have a lot to do. I still love football, and I still love to score goals. It is a fact that they claim I am done, but I have yet to prove that they are wrong about me.
