Suki Waterhouse revealed that releasing her debut album was one of the bravest things she has ever done in her life.
Earlier this year, the 32-year-old singer shared her reflections on her first album, I Can’t Let Go, which was released in 2022, as she prepares to release its sequel, Memoir Of A Sparklemuffin, later this year.
I recently spoke exclusively with NME and explained that when I made the first record I did, I had a lot to prove, and kept it in one world specifically because I was just dipping my toe in and, at the time, I was thinking, “Is this even an option? But is it even ever allowed?“.
As she described her career as an “insane rollercoaster ride”, Waterhouse insisted that putting together the record had been one of the bravest things she had ever done in many ways in her life. There have been nothing but insane rollercoasters since then.
It has been a dream of mine for a decade to not only make one record but a complete album, so every step from here just feels like, ‘I’m just going to have fun and do whatever I want’; that’s all I want.”.
In case you aren’t familiar with the singer, she has announced that her new album will be released on September 13th.
As for her personal life, Daisy Jones has been thriving with the addition of a baby girl to her family; she gave birth to a daughter with Robert Pattinson who she reportedly tied the knot with earlier this year, in an intimate ceremony in her hometown.
