Prince Harry, Meghan Markle make significant donation to Duchess’ homeland

During their latest visit to Africa, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle offered an insightful update on their latest endeavors for schoolchildren.

A collaboration was detaile between Archewell Foundation and GEANCO Foundation by the philanthropic couple. Nigerian girls were being helped to return to school through this program.

According to Archewell’s official website, the Archewell Foundation supported girls’ education and health by sending school supplies and menstrual products to Nigerian scholars through The GEANCO Foundation as students returned to school this month.

She previously revealed on her podcast, in case you weren’t aware, that she was 43% Nigerian.

As a health care and education provider in the country, GEANCO provides critical services.

A scholarship program offered by the school is the David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship, which provides full tuition, medical care, social, and emotional support. Specifically, the statement addresses young girls who are victims of terrorism and gender inequality.

In addition to filling backpacks with supplies and menstrual products, Afam Onyema, CEO of GEANCO, joined Archewell staff members.

According to the statement, AWF’s support will also support the health and well-being of 2,500 girls in the region GEANCO serves.

There were also numerous photos of young girls carrying stylish backpacks filled with pencil pouches, friendship bracelets, and water bottles.
