PM Shehbaz approves Eid ul Adha holiday of three days, A three-day holiday has reportedly been approved by the federal government as part of the occasion of Eid ul Adha. Those three days will be observed between June 17 and June 19, according to reports.

The summaries of the Eid holidays sent by the Cabinet Division to the Prime Minister have been approved by him.

As the Zil Hajj moon was sighted on July 7 of last week, the development comes ahead of the Eid ul Adha celebration in Pakistan on June 17.

In addition to marking the end of the pilgrimage to Hajj, the festival falls on the 10th day of Zil Hajj.

There have been cattle markets set up in different parts of the country ahead of Eid ul Adha, where everyone can purchase cows, goats, sheep, or camels for their sacrifices as part of the festival.

As part of a special package offered on the occasion of Eid ul Adha, Pakistan Railways was able to reduce the fares by 25% for commuters on a special basis.

With the exception of special trains organized for Eid, the discount will be applied to all classes and types of trains.
