In the coastal resort town of Cascais, 20 minutes from Lisbon, Portuguese footballer Christiano Ronaldo is currently having his dream house built. However, the residents of the neighbourhood are already “fed up” with the toll construction has taken on the area in which this condo building will be located.
Marca reported that the four-storey luxury mansion is worth $22 million and has been under construction for the last three years. It is regarded as the most expensive house in the country and has been in the works for very long.
Based on the publication’s citation of the Spanish newspaper Okdiario, the publication stated that all amenities designed by the family have been included on the construction site.
A special feature of the project is that it will consist of four floors and four luxury suites, surrounded by thick glass walls, with a unique view of the beautiful Portuguese landscape.”
Also, besides a cinema room and a service area, the mansion will have a gym, a tennis court, and two garages in which Ronaldo will be able to park at least 20 vehicles of luxury owned by him.
While Ronaldo’s house has been under construction for years, it will not be completed until 2024, which causes disturbance among his neighbors.
One of the neighbors expressed their distress to OkDiario by revealing that their house has been under construction for three years. The house is so big that it appears to be a hospital. My street has been cut off for months, and my garden has been overwhelmed by dust. All because of the ‘pyramid’ of Pharaoh Ronaldo.
The project is expected to be ready for occupancy by the mid-June of 2024. Consequently, the move-in date can be set by the end of May. It should be noted, however, that the ball player won’t be able to return until June 2025, when his contract with Al-Nassr expires.
By the time the Al Nassr forward reaches the age of 40, he will be able to retire, and this mansion may be his retirement home when he reaches the age of 40.
