An eighteen-year-old Chinese student was detained in July 2021 after accusing him of inducing her to perform sexual acts on her after he was detained by a former member of the South Korean boy band EXO. He had also been accused of taking advantage of several other girls, including some who were minors.
It was noted by the court that Wu had gathered a crowd to engage in lewd activities, where he acted as the ringleader to gather people and engage in lewd acts, which confirmed the original ruling regarding the charge of group licentiousness.

This is because the offender had a track record of committing similar offenses in the past, and it appears that the likelihood of him repeating his crime was high.
