As Fox Business reported on Tuesday night, a ticket holder from New Jersey has been selected as the winner of the $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot on Tuesday night.

It was the following numbers that won the Mega Millions prize, 7, 11, 22, 29, 38 and Mega Ball 4 that won the prize.

There have been five largest wins in the history of this game, and this is the fifth largest win.

Currently there is no word on who the winner will be but now he or she can choose to either cash out a lump sum of $537.5 million or to receive annual payments for the prize money.

As well as winning the $1.13 million jackpot, 12 other people, including two from Florida, two from Georgia, and two from Iowa, were able to match all five white balls in order to each win $1 million. The other lucky winners came from California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.

A player from New York won $3 million in addition to the above mentioned player’s winnings, as he managed to match all five white balls and the Megaplier at the same time.

In the history of the US lottery, what is the largest jackpot ever won?

Powerball jackpot of $2.04 billion was won in November 2022 by a single California ticket holder.

Lottery rules: how do I play?

From a $2 win to the ultimate jackpot, there are nine ways to win Mega Millions.

The white ball allows players to choose any six numbers, while the gold Mega Ball offers players the option to choose any six numbers from two separate pools.

Jackpots are won by matching your numbers to the winning numbers.
