Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Friday that four terrorists were killed and another was injured during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the general area of Semu Wanda in District Lakki Marwat on Thursday night, according to the ISPR.

The ISPR released a statement claiming that the security forces conducted an investigation into the reported presence of terrorists in the area where the IBO was conducted.

During the course of the operation, an intense exchange of fire occurred between the troops and the terrorists, resulting in four terrorists being sent to hell, while one terrorist was injured and was apprehended by the security forces,” said the military’s media wing.

I read in one of the reports that the slain militants had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and targeted killings of innocent civilians throughout the course of their lives.

A cache of arms, equipment, and explosives were also found during the operation, according to the ISPR, as well as a cache of ammunition.

According to the report, residents of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support for the elimination of the threat of terrorism from the area.

There have been a number of terror attacks that have taken place in Pakistan over the past year, with Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa being particularly targeted by militants who aim to destabilise the country by targeting civilians and security forces.

The two operations carried out in separate tribal districts on Wednesday night resulted in the death of six terrorists and the martyrdom of four soldiers.

There were two suicide bombings in Balochistan’s Mastung and KP’s Hangu last month, which left several people dead and many others injured, as well as 59 people who perished in a suicide bombing in Balochistan’s Mastung.

There is no doubt that the state will continue to face the full might of the forces of evil after the terror incidents, according to Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir.

The terrorists and their facilitators are proxies of the enemies of Pakistan and its people because they have no link to religion or ideology. In his statement, the army chief said, “There will be no end to these forces of evil as the state and security forces backed by a resilient nation continue to fight them.
