Why Kendall Jenner family felt uncomfortable at runway shows. The real reason Kendall Jenner didn’t want her family to attend her fashion shows was revealed by the reality star.
A video posted by Vogue on their official YouTube channel shows the 27-year-old supermodel walking backstage at a fashion show during Paris Fashion Week in a video that was published by the magazine.
During a round of Q&A, Jenner revealed that she previously didn’t enjoy the idea of watching her mother and sisters on the catwalk because she wanted to be taken “seriously personally” by them.
In the beginning, I was a bit nervous because I was so nervous. “I didn’t want them around,” the star of The Kardashians explained. It was just that I wanted it to be taken seriously, so I didn’t really want them around that much.”
Even so, Jenner eventually learned to accept the fact that her famous family would sit front row at all of her performances as she flourished in her career.
As far as I’m concerned, I think I’m totally fine with it now. Whenever they want, they can scream and shout all they want,” said the socialite.
It was in an episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians Season 2 that she first expressed her skepticism regarding the matter, stating that it made her feel “uncomfortable.”
It’s really, really cool to have a family there when I’m walking down a runway, but at the same time, it’s extremely uncomfortable for me to be walking down a runway with my family there,” Jenner said at the time. There are times when they cheer or they do things that make me cringe and I can’t stand it.
