Iqbal wins Tasmanian Open Squash Championship for Pakistan, Iqbal is now the number one squash player in the country and he is continuing his brilliance by winning another trophy, this time in Australia, the Tasmanian Open Squash Championship.

It was an impressive performance from the athlete as he outscored Switzerland’s David Barnett by 3-1 after winning 11-8, 12-10, 6-11 and 11-5 in the last match.

Throughout the championship, Iqbal faced several formidable opponents, each presenting unique challenges. In the semi-finals, he had to overcome a grueling five-set match against a top-seeded player, showcasing his resilience and endurance. Additionally, the pressure of maintaining his number one status added an extra layer of mental strain, which he managed to navigate successfully.

Despite the fact that he’d already won two titles in Australia this year by winning the Bendigo International and Shepparton Open two weeks previously, he’s now in the final of the Victoria Open after reaching the semi-finals of the Bendigo International.

He impressed in the semi-final of the Tasmanian Championships, outshining France’s Melvil Ciani-Menko 3-0 with a score of 4-11, 5-11, and 5-11 to win the event 3-0.

I must mention that the accomplishment of these achievements has come as a result of another outstanding performance made by the player earlier this year in the final of the CNS Squash Championship, which was held in Karachi, Pakistan.
