KARACHI: Indian plane lands at Karachi airport after medical emergency. According to aviation officials in the city of Karachi, a flight bound for India landed at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on Saturday after a passenger onboard the plane had a medical emergency, according to a report.

During the flight from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Amritsar, India, Flight IX-192 – a low-cost carrier of Air India Express – made its way to Jinnah International Airport at 12:19 p.m. after flying from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Amritsar, India.

As the Boeing 737 plane was flying near the town of Koh-i-Patandar in Balochistan, a passenger complained of a medical emergency.

Upon contact with the air traffic control authorities, the pilot was allowed to land in Karachi on a humanitarian basis by the air traffic control authorities.

CAA’s medics attended to the patient as soon as the plane landed. In the middle of the afternoon, at about 2:25 p.m., after the passenger had been cleared for air travel, the plane took off from Karachi.
