According to Health, the findings of a new study have found that Lebanese teenagers and young adults have lost an average of 15 pounds in just 12 weeks when they consumed apple cider vinegar up to one tablespoon daily.

It was Rony Abou-Khalil, one of the authors of the study, who stated that the researchers were looking to research non-pharmaceutical solutions to obesity as a potential solution that would align with the growing interest in these approaches. 

According to him, the purpose of this study was to identify natural remedies that might offer safe and effective alternatives to the traditional approaches to weight loss and to reduce obesity.

During the testing, they selected apple cider vinegar because it has been used for many years as an effective health tonic. It is made by crushing and fermenting apples, which are high in antioxidants.

I believe that apple cider vinegar might be useful for weight loss on a daily basis, but there are more effective and proven weight loss methods available than apple cider vinegar.

According to Melissa Mitri, a private practice dietitian, in order to lose weight, you need to be in a calorie deficit, that means taking in fewer calories than you burn in a day. 

The best way to do this is to reduce the number of calories you consume in your diet, exercise more, or, ideally, combining both strategies.”

There may, in the end, be a better path to long-term weight loss if you stick to these old standbys and do not jump on the apple cider vinegar bandwagon.
