As Imam-ul-Haq prepares to get married on November 25th, the wedding festivities are underway as the star Pakistani cricketer prepares to get married.
On Tuesday evening, the internet was ablaze with images taken from Anmol Mehmood’s mehndi ceremony, which held a lot of attention.
As part of the mehndi ceremony in Norway, the bride-to-be wore a lavish bridal outfit from a local brand, which she bought from one of the local stores.
It seems that the apparel of the person was overly embellished in deep reds and dull golds, as well as palest oranges and purples, which added a splash of vibrancy to the overall look.
There was no doubt that the exquisite outfit caught the eye of many, not only because it was elegant, but also because it had been specifically chosen for a mehndi function.
Pakistani brides usually opt for bright colours for their mehndi, like green, yellow, or pink, while red is usually reserved for the wedding day only and not for the mehndi on the day of their wedding.
It is interesting to note, however, that Anmol’s choice was praised by many netizens. There were even some people who were wondering what the cost of the outfit was.
A call was made to the designer by Geo.tv in order to learn the price of the product.
According to the price tag provided by the brand for the dress, it was a creation from the bridal collection of the well-known Pakistani designer Hassan Shehryar, commonly known as HSY, which cost approximately Rs1,550,000 for a gown in this style.
In a recent post on her official Instagram account, Anmol shared a number of photos and videos from a picturesque location somewhere in this Scandinavian country.
As well as sharing some pictures of the bride on their Instagram page, the designer shared a couple of pictures of the cricketer and his future wife with the caption “Imam ki Anmol” (Imam’s Anmol), and tagged them both.
There will be an official wedding event in Lahore on Wednesday, November 23, in celebration of Imam’s wedding. On November 25, the nikah ceremony will take place and on November 26 the valima reception will take place.
It is believed that the celebrations will begin on November 23 with the performance of a qawwali evening, although the name of the group that will participate in the event remains a secret. His big day will be the day when he will wear his new Prince coat, which is to be unveiled in the near future.
There is a likelihood that a number of cricketing stars are going to grace the joyous occasion, including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, as well as others from the national team. Former players as well as members of management will also be invited to take part in the event.
It is expected that Imam will not take part in the camp for the Australian tour of the Test Matches initially, but may join them later on. There will be a training camp at the Pindi Cricket Stadium from November 19 to November 28. On November 30, the team is scheduled to fly out from Lahore on the first flight of the season.
