Hamzah Sheeraz wins European Boxing Championships, During the course of the event, Hamzah Sheeraz, a Pakistani-origin British boxer, beat both British boxers Tyler Denny and Reshma Khan to become the Middleweight European Champion.

It was a completely dominant performance from Sheeraz as he defeated his British opponent at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday evening. As a consequence of his undefeated record, the undefeated middleweight sent southpaw Denny to the canvas twice before winning the fight by technical knockout (TKO).

First of all, he was knocked down by a combination of right crosses and left hooks he delivered in the first round of the fight. In the second round, the winning boxer was able to knock Denny down with yet another powerful left hook before ending the fight. As Denny was able to stand again after being knocked down by Mark Bates, the referee declared it over and waved it off.

There is no doubt that Sheeraz’s arm length and height significantly contributed to his success in keeping his opponent at bay during the match.

Despite the fact that the Pakistani-born boxer, now living in London, remains undefeated to this day, increasing the tally of his victories to 21-0 with this victory.

Additionally to winning the European title for Denny, the 25-year-old also won the Commonwealth and WBC ‘Silver’ titles during his career.

Denny, a 33-year-old former world heavyweight champion who now stands at 19-3-3, lost the strap after dropping to 19-3-3. After winning six fights in a row, the English athlete suffered a devastating defeat.
