For Twilight role, Lautner had to ‘fight back’

The whole Twilight franchise was never meant to be about Taylor Lautner playing Jacob Black.

Lautner, who was said to be playing Jacob Black in the first film, said that he was only meant to play him in this film.

The Twilight crew has informed Lautner that they intend to replace him in the remaining episodes of the series based on a point of view Lautner expressed in his interview with Alex Cooper’s podcast Call Her Daddy.

He explains that, while he was supposed to be a 16-year-old scrawny boy in the first book, in the middle of the second book he transforms into a 25-year-old looking muscular, built man, but looks like a 16-year-old,” he says.

Ultimately, the intention was to cast a mid-20s guy to portray Jacob throughout the entire franchise, both in the first movie and in the sequels, Lautner, who was 16 years old at the time of the first film, said.

It was a battle to get back my role, he said, “and I had to fight for it.”.

During the nine months he worked out hard to maintain his position, Lautner put on 20-25 pounds in an attempt to maintain his position. “I didn’t want to be late, so when my team got the call, we wanted to know, if he had been seen recently,” said Albert. He added that he was sorry to hear of his impending death.

It still remains to be seen whether Lautner will be able to pass the audition.

In a later episode of the TV show, the actor also spoke about the impact that growing up in the spotlight had on his body image.

There was a lot of body image issues I dealt with in the last five to seven years because in the franchise you don’t wear a lot of clothes, you know? It was also easier to have a body like that when I was 17, 18, 19 years old, and it was easier to have a body like that than what I am now,” he said referring to his youth.

In his speech on the show, Lautner expressed his gratitude to the two women who assisted him in resolving his concerns about body image, his wife Taylor Dome, who was also a guest on the show, as well as his friends.

In spite of the fact that he has improved greatly, he said, “there are still bad days and good days,”.
