Ex-spy chief Faiz behind political witch-hunt under Imran: Aleem

It has been reported that Istihkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Aleem Khan has taken adverse actions against Imran Khan’s close aides to win over the upper hand for his succession to the role of army chief, according to reports in Taxila.

A public rally was held in Taxila in Punjab on Thursday, during which Aleem, who formed the IPP together with Jahangir Tareen, expressed this view while addressing a crowd of people.

According to IPP’s president, Imran Khan has insinuated that false accusations have been made against Jahangir Tareen, the party’s patron-in-chief, and his daughter, during the PTI’s tenure as government.

It was actually Farah Gogi who was making a Naya Pakistan rather than Imran Khan, according to the IPPP president, referring to the former first lady’s close friend.

There is something wrong with Imran Khan’s relationship with his children. He pointed out that the man who was not even sincere with his children could not possibly be loyal to us.

According to Aleem, he was making a statement about Imran’s rhetoric of making Pakistan a Madinah-like state in which his wife Bushra Bibi was “filling coffers” whereas Imran was asking the country to adopt the principles that made Madinah a thriving state.

It was also claimed that goats had eaten billion trees leaves during the PTI’s much-touted billion tree tsunami project, according to the writer.

Ghulam Sarwar Khan was also lauded by the IPP president for quitting PTI to join the IPP, saying he gave his party a lot of impetus because of his decisions to leave PTI.

Tareen, the leader of the IPP, told the rally that the party would certainly make a “Naya Pakistan” when it comes to statehood.

IPP is going to concentrate on the mass’s issues first, and they will think later about their own issues, he said.

There is a point to be made about using our words wisely and not slandering anyone, Tareen observed.

As part of his thanks, he also thanked Ghulam Sarwar Khan, who is now a member of the IPP.

Earlier this year, Aleem and Tareen, two of Khan’s former friends, launched their own party called the Independence Party (IPP) after they decided to separate from the PTI chief, after they both developed differences.

There have been various PTI leaders that have joined the IPP since its launch on June 8 this year. They include Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Murad Raas, Ghulam Sarwar Khan, among others.
