In the past four years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they were leaving the Royal Family nearly four years ago, they have faced quite a few ups and downs in terms of their finances.

Earlier this year, they moved to a posh neighborhood of Montecito, California that is a suburb of Los Angeles.

In the following months, the couple signed a variety of lucrative deals with companies like Netflix and Spotify.

In 2020, they struck a deal with Netflix for $100 million, and since then, they have released quite a few projects. Furthermore, the Sussexes took part in a 2006 six-part docuseries on world leaders titled, Live to Lead, which served as a complement to the 2022 documentary on world leaders.

Earlier this year, just a few months after the annual Invictus Games, his youngest son, Prince William, released a film that documents the game, entitled Heart of Invictus.

Throughout this time, the Suits alum hosted a podcast for the $20 million Spotify deal, titled Archetypes, with big-name artists appearing on its 12 episodes as part of the deal.

The deal with the music streaming platform ended up being terminated in June of this year after a year of negotiations.

With the release of his bombshell memoir, Spare, which was released in January, the son of Princess Diana also brought in millions.

As of March 2021, he has been appointed to the position of Chief Impact Officer of the Californian company BetterUp.

In their capacity as members of the Royal Family, Harry and Meghan made around £5 million or $6.9 million on an annual basis, which included expenses associated with wardrobe, travel, security, as well as private expenses.

Following their resignation from their positions as senior royals, the funding ceased after the two stepped down from their posts.
