In an effort to congratulate her husband, the veteran Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, who clinched the Trophy for the T20 World Cup 2024 in front of a global audience on Saturday night, actress Anushka Sharma took to social media to share her feelings.

As a result of beating South Africa in the World Cup final by seven runs, the Men in Blue Shirts have become the third nation to win two World Cup titles, joining the West Indies and England, after winning their first World Cup title in 2009.

After beating Pakistan in the final of the 2007 Twenty20 World Cup, India became the first nation to win the title.

In celebration of Kohli, 35, he took to social media last night to celebrate the announcement he made a few days earlier that he would be retirement from T20 International cricket.

Her posts on her Instagram page depicted a picture of her husband, holding the trophy, and with a sweet caption, it read: “AND … I love this man @virat.kohli. I am so grateful to be your partner in life – now go to the bar and get a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate this.”

Earlier in the day, the Indian actress posted another post on Instagram, in which she showed the historic win of her father’s team, and she explained what her three-year-old daughter Vamika was worried about when she saw her father’s team crying after the match. During the celebration of Rohit Sharma’s historic victory, she shared a few moments of her own.

Her letter read as follows: “Our daughter was most concerned about whether all the players had someone to hug them when she saw them crying on the television. Yes, My darling, they were embraced by 1.5 billion individuals after watching the game.

There has never been a more magnificent victory and what a more legendary achievement! CHAMPIONS – CONGRATULATIONS!!

Despite overwhelmed with emotions after the win, Kohli did not waste any time in telling his family back home about the victory, as he was spotted using a video call to talk to his wife Vamika and four-month-old Akaay on the phone he uses to communicate with them.

Timenews1 provided that information.
