A heartfelt note from Taylor Swift about 1989. It’s been more than a year since Taylor Swift released “1989 (Taylor’s version),” one of the most beloved albums of the year.

A heartfelt handwritten letter was also sent along with the photos, which the pop megastar shared on her Instagram account on October 27, in celebration of the moment.

She began by saying, “I was born in 1989, reinvented for the first time in 2014, and a part of me was reclaimed in 2023 when you released this album I love so dearly. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine, because this album has been a part of my life for so long, the magic you can sprinkle on my life. Thanks so much for all you have done for me, thank you so much,” she explained.

It is important to keep in mind that the album, which originally consisted of 16 songs, contains five songs that had never previously been released by Swift: S***!, Say Don’t Go, Now That We Don’t Talk, Suburban Legends, as well as Is It All Over Now??

As the 33-year-old singer presented her treasured album which changed her life in countless ways, she expressed her immense gratitude and excitement at having the opportunity to present it.

As she continued to say, “This moment is a reflection of the woods we have wandered through and all the love we have between us still shining brightly in the darkest of nights.”

The Lover singer took to the stage when he concluded his song with a heartfelt thank you, adding, “it’s been waiting for you for a long time. Taylor”
