Update on WhatsApp, A range of improvements have been made to WhatsApp over the last few months in an effort to enhance the user experience.
As a result of the platform upgrade, WhatsApp channels have been added as well as major changes to the user interface, hinting at more improvements to come.
Among the new features announced by WhatsApp recently is the ability to upload a minute-long video to your status.
Video uploads have been limited to 30 seconds in the past, but the platform has now extended that limit as a result of longstanding requests from users.
According to the requests, WhatsApp is now aiming to allow one-minute videos on its status feature, just as Instagram does.
The company is currently testing a feature in which users will be able to add minute-long videos to their status updates.
In the future, users will not be required to crop their videos or shorten them to 30 seconds. If the video exceeds one minute, WhatsApp automatically splits it into segments of 60 seconds.
In order to use the new WhatsApp feature, follow these steps.
1. Open the WhatsApp application on your Android or iOS device.
2. Select the ‘My Status’ icon under the ‘Status’ section.
3. After selecting the video, make sure that the video does not exceed the one minute length requirement.
4. Then, once you have finished, you can upload it to your video status so that your contacts can see it as well.
5. After the video is uploaded, you can share it with your friends and followers.
6. Finally, add a caption and tag friends or brands.
7. Add a relevant hashtag to your post to increase visibility.
8. Encourage people to share the video with their friends and family.
